SAVE the Magic Mushrooms ! And other Personal Freedoms

Magic Mushrooms are not the only thing that risk becoming illegal in Holland, sadly enough.

Let us list some other really ridiculous and pointless legislation proposals by the conservative Dutch governement:

• Ban on smoking in coffeeshops

• Banning the Coran

• Make bikini-featuring advertisements illegal

• Forbidden for homosexual party members to take on managerial functions within the Christian Union

• Making magic mushrooms illegal

• Forbidding Second Life (the guy who published this list on the www.reddepaddo.nl website has by the way designed grow kit for raising shrooms in Second Life ;-)

• Banning the sale of incandescent light bulbs

• Making squatting illegal (whereas in Holland squatting vacant flats has been legal under certain circumstances, in order to counter housing market speculation and lack of affordable housing).

And many other fantastic points that let us hope for better leaders for this great and traditionally open country.
